Alles uit niets; begrijpend geloven in de schepping door Prof. E.H. Andrews (hoogleraar natuurkunde aan de universiteit van London ). Er zijn van die boeken die zo boeiend zijn dat je ze in één keer uitleest, zoals dit boek. Neo-darwinisme, gebaseerd op variatie en natuurlijke selectie, is een theorie van vóór de tijd dat moleculen, atomen en biochemie bekend waren. Hoe meer details bekend worden, hoe meer vragen er rijzen vanwege de enorme complexiteit. Succesvolle reproductie heeft levensvatbare DNA-code (informatie) nodig die dermate uitzonderlijk is (specified complexity) dat die natuurlijke selectie als evolutietheorie uitsluit. 99,9999% van alle variaties zijn nl. dodelijk. Het lukt wetenschappers niet om dood materiaal om te zetten in levend weefsel zelfs niet onder perfecte omstandigheden in een laboriatorium. Al zou het hen wel lukken, dan bewijst het alleen maar dat er hoge intelligentie aan te pas dient te komen. Willkeurige natuurlijke selectie leidt altijd tot niets.

The Right Side of History - How Reason and Moral Purpose Made the West Great- by Ben Shapiro; a must-read over hoe de hang naar vluchtig plezier, passie en zelfrealisatie v.a. de hippiejaren de hoogste doelen op zichzelf werden als zoektocht naar geluk (en nu mainstream zijn). Een rebellie tegen de peilers van het liberale Westen wiens fundamenten vanuit Griekse en Joods-Christelijke filosofie (rationaliteit, zingeving en verantwoordelijkheid) hebben gezorgd voor de grootste vrijheid en welvaart ooit in de mensengeschiedenis én de weg vormen naar duurzaam geluk. De tegencultuur zou voor een nieuwe mens zorgen in een nieuwe utopische wereld. Deze hippie-rebellie en zelfrealisatiecultuur leiden tot een in zichzelf gevangen desillusie waarvan de impact langdurig en destructief zal zijn.
